The last time when the Lincoln MKS 2WD was upgraded was in 2008. The upgrade is all set to capture the luxury sedan market in the US as well as the other parts of the North America. The sedan is being offered in both FWD and the AWD configurations.
The Lincoln MKS 2WD is powered initially by a 3.7L V6 engine. The engines can produce power up to 272 horsepower and deals with 265 ft-lbs of torque, one of the best configurations. The press release from the Lincoln MKS 2WD says that the engine will be upgraded to a turbo charged V6 version. The proposed engine will have 400 horsepower and 415 ft-lbs of torque.
Among other features, the Lincoln MKS 2WD will feature a full leather seating arrangement, 18-inch alloy wheels, heated seats (on demand), a six discs CD player, and wood interior trim. Optional packages include aluminum wheels, a package of navigation, and a dual power moon roof.
