Aprilia Shiver vs. Ducati Monster 696
Filed Under Aprilia, Bikes | Leave a Comment
The majority of riders wish to keep their driving privileges a bit above than the ones that others possess. There are many bikes available in the market, each better than the other and continuously improving on the standards. So what is the big deal about Ducati’s Monster 696 and Aprilia’s Shiver 750?
They are both Italian models and cost less. They offer almost the same amount of style. So there is no conflict as of yet. Ducati has been around for almost a decade while the Shiver is completely new. One can easily recognize an Aprilia from far away. The Shiver has sharp angled body panels. The body parts are the steel and hybrid frame. It is 80 pounds more heavy than the Ducati. In short, there are not many differences in both the bikes except that the Shiver is newer model and people may want to try it out.

Stelvio is Moto Guzzi’s retaliation to the BMW GS. The design aims to surpass the many features of the BMW GS. Described a two wheeled SUV, the Stelvio is more of an adventure bike that can tackle almost all kinds of roads. You can even pass the Stelvio Pass on the bike.
The Stelvio is centered on its signature “traverse mount” Guzzi’s patented V twin engines. It claims to have 563 new parts. The one to be noted is the quattrovalvole head. The engine is slightly modified to offer the four-valve design. The same engine is also present in the Moto Guzzi’s Griso. The four valve engine gives you more power albeit at more revolutions.
Once you are on it, you will forget all the rules of the road, but it is recommended that you follow them. Use appropriate safety gear, as you may
be tempted to use your right hand to increase the speed on more dangerous roads.

Triumph’s Awesome Street Triple 675
Filed Under Bikes, Triumph | Leave a Comment
Riding the Triumph Street Triple 675 may be hazardous to your driver privileges. This is the disclaimer that you will get on most of the ads for Triumph Street Triple 675. And it is true. Once you are on the bike, you forget that there are driving rules and regulations. Screeching sounds, smoke and sirens are all part of driving the Triple 675.
You may wonder about the above line. The screeching sound is the rear tire that skids when you apply brakes while driving at high speeds. The smoke is the dust raised by the Street Triple 675. Sirens? Well, they are the police after you for flaunting the rules of the road.
But you are not to blame. Blame it on the liquid cooled 675cc inline three engines. The engine is the same that was used in the Daytona 675 with some alterations that offer you more control over the torque produced by the engine. To sum up, the engine of the Triple 675 is fully controlled by you. You can use it mildly or wildly depending upon your relation with the roads.

Yamaha Star VMAX – A Comparison with B King
Filed Under Bikes, Yamaha | Leave a Comment
The Yamaha Star VMAX 2009 is a massive street bike that has all the features of a sportsbike, except that it cannot be taken to the dirt tracks where the distance between the base of the bike and ground level is not much high. It is not suited to the uneven tracks. The B King on the other hand was released in the 2008 and rules several hearts. Both bikes are different in looks but offer almost the same power drive.
Both bikes command around 400 horsepower and are built to look the wildest street bikes ever seen in the history. The Suzuki B King too gives you an impression as if you are playing some simulation game. But both bikes are for real. You can feel the gaming simulations coming true on the roads if you can properly control the bikes and the law permits the extraordinary speeds that both of these bikes offer!

Suzuki’s B-King – Massive Streetbike
Filed Under Bikes, Suzuki | Leave a Comment
When William Blake wrote “the road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom,” he did not expect that someday a street bike will come over on the road of excess. Though a street bike, the Suzuki B King can handle most terrains. But there is no question of wisdom here. The Suzuki B King seduces you into breaking all the rules of the road with the extravagant features and looks it possesses.
The freakishly powerful street bike devolved from brain from human, offers base lust for full throttle with full control of the machine. Once you have a ride on the bike, you will wonder who gave you a valid driver’s license! Such is the seducing power of the B King. The B King commands around 400 horsepower in the 2008 model. The B King is unmatched and next only to the Star VMAX’s 2009 version. Though a street bike, it is built on the concept of the sport bike Hayabusa Inline-Four.
