The name vantage is used by Aston Martin to indicate a better performance vehicle than the previous model. The latest model of Aston martin V8 Vantage Roadster was launched in 2006 at the Los Angeles motor show, one year after its introduction. Its being sold as the 2008 model.
The Aston martin V8 vantage Roadster has an engine capacity of 4280 cc with eight cylinders. It has a power output of 380 bph each at 7300 rpm and torque of 302 lb ft at 5000 rpm. It has a six speed manual transmission and acceleration to 62 mph in 4.9 seconds. It has a top speed of 175 mph. Other expected features of the brand is of course the luxuriously equipped leather seats, electronic climate control, tire pressure monitoring system, 160 watt six disk audio system, 19 inch wheels, satellite radio, a navigation system, a Bluetooth communication interface and HID headlights.
